Signed lower left 'Alfred deBreanski'Alfred de Breanski was born in Greenwich,England
into a noble family of British landscape painters and was
the father of A. Fontville de
Breanski. Although he is best known for his paintings of the
Scottish Highlands, he was very active in the countryside
around London. He exhibited frequently at The Royal Academy
and Suffolk Street. His works are to be be found in many
museums around the world.
